Media Advisory: City of Toronto officially opens new Avondale Park
  
Councillor John Filion (Ward 23 Willowdale) and representatives of Toronto
Parks and Recreation will officially open Toronto's newest greenspace and
playground at Avondale Park, located in the Yonge Street and Highway 401 area.

The new fully-accessible park features a children's playground, a series of
pathways, seating areas and planting beds. The focal point of the park is the
natural stone wall that supports a large paved terrace, which overlooks the
park from the north-west corner.
