Weekend road closures for Toronto Marathon
  
A series of road and lane closures and intermittent delays will take place on
Sunday, October 17 to accommodate the Toronto Marathon and other races.

Sunday closures and intermittent delays:

The main segment of the races will take place on Yonge Street between Steeles
Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard. Various road and lane closures will occur in
the following areas between 3 a.m. and 4 p.m. to accommodate the
races:
  • the area bounded by Steeles Avenue, Willowdale Avenue, Highway 401 and Allen Road/Dufferin Street
  • the area bounded by Highway 401, Mount Pleasant Boulevard, Bloor Street and Bathurst Street
  • the area bounded by Bloor Street, the Don Valley Parkway, the Gardiner Expressway and Bathurst Street
The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a
convenient, alternative choice whenever possible.
