Toronto Fire Services hold career information sessions

Toronto Fire Services is holding a series of career information sessions for
people interested in becoming a Toronto firefighter.

Members of the Toronto Fire Services team deliver these free informal sessions
to provide general information about the process of selecting Toronto
firefighters. They also provide attendees with an opportunity to ask questions
about a career as a firefighter. Since preparing for the selection process is
time-consuming, Toronto Fire Services encourages potential candidates to attend
at least one of these two-hour sessions.

In addition to the general sessions, Toronto Fire Services has arranged two
special sessions for women on Thursday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Council
Chamber, Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr., and on Wednesday, March 31,
at noon, Committee Room 1, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W. Women interested in
attending one of these two sessions should register at 416-338-9523.

To confirm locations, dates and times of the sessions and obtain more
information on the firefighter recruitment process, interested people should
call 416-392-FIRE (416-392-3473) or visit the Toronto Fire Services Web site at
http://www.toronto.ca/fire.
