Weekend road closures for special events
  
A series of road and lane closures will take place this weekend to accommodate
street events in the city.

Caribana Parade:

Saturday to Sunday closures:

Lake Shore Boulevard, from Colborne Lodge Drive to Strachan Avenue, will be
closed from Saturday, July 31 at 1:30 a.m. until Sunday, August 1 at 3 a.m. to
accommodate the parade. An alternative route during this closure would be the
Gardiner Expressway.

Pedestrian Sunday - Church Street:

Sunday closure:

Church Street, from Wellesley Street to Alexander Street, will be closed from
10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, August 1 to allow for pedestrian use only.

Pedestrian Sunday - Kensington Market:

Sunday closure:

A number of roads will be closed in the Kensington Market area to accommodate
Pedestrian Sunday. Parts of the following roads will be closed from noon to 6
p.m. on Sunday, August 1:

· Augusta Avenue
· Baldwin Street
· St. Andrew Street
· Kensington Avenue
· Wales Avenue

The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient,
alternative choice whenever possible.
