On-street parking renewals available on-line

City of Toronto residents can once again renew their on-street parking permits
from the comfort of their own homes.

Permits can be renewed on-line as part of an ongoing City program, eService,
which is aimed at providing 24/7 access to many City services. The renewal of
on-street parking permits was the first project to be provided under this
program.

"We want to remind residents that going on-line is an easy and effective way to
renew your parking permit," said David Kaufman, General Manager, Transportation
Services. "We're hopeful that even more people will take advantage of this
convenient service."

The on-line service is available at http://www.toronto.ca/transportation. A
current permit holder requires just a permit number or licence plate number and
a valid credit card to make the payment. By following the on-line
instructions, a permit can be renewed in just minutes from home without having
to line up and renew the permit in person.
