Media Advisory: Mayor Miller and Deputy Mayor Pantalone to unveil sign to mark site of Toronto's newest harbourfront park
Mayor David Miller and Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone will unveil a sign
identifying the site of HTO, the first phase of the Harbourfront Parks and Open
Space System.

A community open house will follow the sign unveiling where the public can view
and comment on plans for the park and meet the multi-discipline project team.

(south side of Queen's Quay Boulevard West, east of Lower Spadina Avenue)

HTO, created by Janet Rosenberg + Associates Landscape Architects Inc.
(Toronto), Claude Cormier Architectes Paysagistes Inc. (Montreal), and Hariri
Pontarini Architects (Toronto) is the design for Toronto's newest harbourfront
park, for Maple Leaf Quay East and West and their related slips. These parcels
of land total approximately 1.7 hectares (4.2 acres). Construction is expected
to begin in the fall of 2004.
