Millwood Road to reopen Monday
All four lanes of Millwood Road, south of Laird Drive, will reopen on Monday,
January 26, in time for the evening rush hour traffic. The road will be
partially open, with two lanes, on Monday morning.

Millwood Road has been closed since Monday, January 21 due to breaks of a water
main and a gas main. The water main and gas main were both repaired by the next
day. However, when the water was turned back on, the water main broke again in
another area. Due to the age and condition of the pipe, the City decided to
replace an entire section of the pipe.

Excavating and replacing the pipe section required several days and Millwood
Road has had to remain closed as a result. Work on the water main was completed
yesterday and work to repair and repave the road is in progress.
