Toronto Fire Services offers career preparation course in September
  
Toronto Fire Services is offering a career preparation course for people 18
years of age and older who want to learn about the Toronto Fire Services and
the various careers available in the Toronto Fire Services.

This accredited course is recognized through Seneca College's Pre-Service
Firefighter Education and Training Program. The curriculum includes hands-on
fire services training at one of the City of Toronto's training centres
delivered by professional firefighters. This course provides an introduction to
a variety of relevant fire service information and practical experience.

The course will be presented on the following dates:
§ Beginning September 7, for 12 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m., and
one Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
§ Beginning September 8, for 12 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.,
and one Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Both sessions take place at the Special Operations Training Centre, 200
Bermondsey Rd., south of Eglinton Avenue East, and east of the Don Valley
Parkway.

Although the courses take place in September, Toronto Fire Services must
