Media Advisory: First meeting of the Mayor's Roundtable on Seniors
  
What: The Mayor's Roundtable on Seniors is a unique intergovernmental and
community initiative designed to focus attention on policies, programs and
services to support the quality of life of seniors in Toronto.

When: Tuesday, November 23, 2:30 p.m.

Where: Council Chamber, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

Why: To develop an action plan to address the needs of Toronto's seniors.

The Mayor's Roundtable on Seniors, chaired by Councillor Gay Cowbourne,
comprises 19 members. They include Deputy Mayor Mike Feldman, Councillor Gloria
Lindsay Luby, representatives from the federal and provincial governments,
senior service and advocacy organizations and individual seniors.
