Weekend Road Closures |

A number of road closures will take place this weekend to accommodate emergency
road work and street events in the city.
Here is a list of some of the closures and alternative routes that motorists
can consider using.
· Work on the Bloor Street bridge east will result in the closure of Bloor
Street East and Mount Pleasant Road on Sunday, June 20.
Bloor Street East will be closed from Jarvis Street to east of Mount Pleasant
Road and Mount Pleasant Road will be closed from Jarvis Street to Elm Street
from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Drivers should consider using Yonge Street or Bayview Avenue as alternative
routes during this closure.
· College Street, from the west side of Euclid Avenue to the east side of Shaw
Street, will be closed from Friday, June 18 at 6 p.m. to Sunday, June 20 at 8
This closure is for the Taste of Little Italy event.
Drivers should consider using Dundas Street West or Harbord Street when
travelling east/west, while both Ossington Avenue or Bathurst Street would be
alternatives if travelling north/south in this area.
· Queen Street West, from the west side of Duncan Street to the east side of
John Street, will be closed on Saturday, June 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
and from 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 20 to 1 a.m. on Monday, June 21. Lane closures
on Richmond Street West, from Duncan Street to John Street, will occur from
Friday, June 18 at 6:30 a.m. to Monday, June 21 at 6 a.m.
These road and lane closures are for a video awards television show.
For east/west travel in this area, King Street West, Adelaide Street or Dundas
Street West would be alternative routes while Spadina Avenue is an alternative
for north/south travellers.
· Queens Park Crescent East and West, from Bloor Street West to College Street,
and Wellesley Street West, from Queens Park Crescent East to Queens Park
Crescent West, will be closed from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 18.
This closure is for a road race.
A north/south alternative for motorists is Bay Street, Yonge Street or Bathurst
Street, while an east/west alternative is Bloor Street West.
