Safety scissors pressed into service for ribbon-cutting
  
At a ribbon-cutting ceremony with a twist, Toronto Children's Services will
celebrate the opening of its newest directly operated centre, the City Kids
Child Care Centre. Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone (Ward 19 Trinity-Spadina) and
Councillor Olivia Chow (Ward 20 Trinity-Spadina), Toronto's Children's
Advocate, will take up children's safety scissors and declare this facility
open for Toronto's youngest citizens. Children will also play a key role in
this ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Date: Wednesday, December 8

Times: Formal presentations/ribbon cutting: 3:30 p.m.
Guided tours: 4 p.m.
