A preview of the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival weekend
As production crews prepare Yonge-Dundas Square for the opening ceremonies and
this weekend's festivities, members of the media are invited to collect footage
of two Celebrate Toronto Street Festival premiere performances.

Vancouver-based SWARM, 10 minutes

Thursday, July 8, 2 p.m.

Yonge-Dundas Square, 1 Dundas St. E.

Scheduled for July 9 - 11, 2004, the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival
transforms five intersections along the world's longest street, giving the
right of way to a curb-to-curb celebration of tastes, talent and all that is
Toronto. Yonge Street, where it intersects with Dundas St., Bloor St., St.
Clair Ave., Eglinton Ave. and Lawrence Ave., is converted into a stage for free
entertainment that covers the artistic spectrum. Named the "Best Festival" at
the 2004 Canadian Event Industry Association's Star Awards, this sizzling
summer festival stimulates audiences' senses with hot entertainment to see,
cool music to hear and delicious food to savour.
