Weekend road closures for special events
  
A series of road and lane closures and intermittent delays will take place this
weekend to accommodate street events in the city such as the CIBC Run for the
Cure.

CIBC Run for the Cure, 1-km and 5-km races

Sunday closures and intermittent delays:

Queen Street West from Bay Street to University Avenue and the southbound lanes
of Bay Street from Albert Street to Queen Street West will be closed Sunday,
October 3 from 6 a.m. until 1 p.m. to accommodate the start and finish set-up
for the Sunday races.

The race event route includes a combination of full road and lane closures on
Queen Street West, Bay Street, University Avenue from Queen Street West to
Bloor Street West (including Queen's Park), and Bloor Street West from St.
George Street to Queen's Park, from 6 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 3.
The two races start at 10 a.m.

The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient,
alternative choice whenever possible.
