St. Lawrence Market receiving donations to Asian earthquake-tsunami relief fund

Members of the public interested in donating to the massive relief efforts
required to assist the residents of those countries devastated by the recent
earthquake and tsunamis can drop by the St. Lawrence Market tomorrow, December
31, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Volunteers from the Salvation Army will be set up to receive donations in the
lobby of the South Market. The volunteers will also visit the various merchants
of the Market to receive the donations from customers.

The merchants of St. Lawrence Market will match tomorrow's donations at the
Market up to a total amount of $5,000. People can make donations by cash or
cheque.

St. Lawrence Market is at 95 Front St. E. at Jarvis Street.
