Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: City's youngest artists share their creative talents
  
On Monday, September 20, some of Toronto's youngest artists will showcase their
creative talents at the launch of the seventh annual "Art at the Start" show.
This week-long exhibit will honour the creative expressions of over 50
children, from infants to age 12, who are enrolled in Toronto Children's
Services Directly Operated Child Care Centres.

At the opening ceremonies, the children and their families will receive mounted
copies of their award-winning designs. Many of the designs are snapshots of the
children's lives, and present a unique perspective on the world around us.

At Toronto Children's Services, kids and quality matter. Ensuring children
receive the highest quality of child care includes providing opportunities for
children to nurture and develop their creativity. This art show demonstrates
how this is happening every day in our child care centres.

The children's artwork will be on display from Monday evening to Friday,
September 24.
