Media Advisory: Scarborough to be served by new shared Emergency Services station
Toronto's firefighters and paramedics will open their new joint station in
Scarborough on Monday. Toronto EMS Chief Bruce Farr and Toronto Fire Chief Bill
Stewart will preside over the official opening of the new station, which was
built to serve northeast Scarborough's growing neighbourhoods.

Date: Monday, February 9
Time: 2 p.m.
Place: 8500 Sheppard Ave. E. (east of Morningside Avenue)

Members of the media will be invited to tour this new facility, to be known as
Toronto Fire Station 212 / Toronto EMS 25 Station. You will see the shared
staff facilities and other features of this modern building, along with a
selection of vehicles from both services.
