Registration for Listening to Toronto session opens this weekend

One, city-wide Listening to Toronto session will be held on Sunday, November 28
at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Listening to Toronto is a great opportunity for people who want to be informed
and involved in local government and city issues. Public input can help
Council as it makes difficult decisions about balancing the City's budget and
implementing its priorities.

In this session, participants will learn about Council's priorities and be able
to discuss three of these in detail. These three priorities were selected
because they can benefit the most from public discussion: a clean and beautiful
city; creating strong neighbourhoods; and engaging the public.

The session begins at 1 p.m. with a mix of short presentations and small table
group discussions. Mayor David Miller will kick off the session.

People who wish to attend can register by calling Access Toronto at
416-338-0338, beginning on Saturday, November 13 and Sunday, November 14 from
10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and then on weekdays beginning Monday, November 15 from 8
a.m.- 5 p.m.
