Toys for kids for Christmas - 15th Annual Paramedics Memorial Charity Hockey Tournament
  
Come out and see paramedics from across Ontario compete for fun, collect toys
for kids, and raise money for charity at the 15th Annual Paramedics Memorial
Charity Hockey Tournament, which is being held this Thursday and Friday at The
Ice Gardens at York University.

The tournament, which is organized by Toronto EMS Paramedic Bruce Normington,
includes teams of paramedics representing Toronto, Dufferin-Caledon,
Kitchener-Waterloo, Muskoka, Simcoe and York-Durham.

Portions of this year's proceeds will go to the Alliston Kinsmen Toy Drive, the
Simcoe County Toy Drive, the Amanda Finch Memorial Bursary (in honour of the
Waterloo Region Paramedic who passed away suddenly last year), and the Tender
Wishes Foundation.

Date: Thursday, November 25

Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Place: The Ice Gardens at York University
989 Murray Ross Parkway (off Steeles Ave.
W., east of Jane St.)

Media Availability: Tournament Organizer Bruce Normington will be playing with
his Toronto EMS Team at 10 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. He will be available, along
with other players, for comment before and after each game.
