Toronto, York and East York are going green
  
Mayor David Miller will launch the Green Bin Program on the first day of
collection, which involves the collection of organic materials from households,
in the communities of Toronto, York and East York. Joining him curbside will be
Deputy Mayor Sandra Bussin and Councillor Jane Pitfield, Chair of the Works
Committee, along with other Councillors whose wards are also welcoming the
program.

What: Press Conference/Photo Opportunity (Please note: electricity is
available.)

When: Tuesday, October 19 at 10 a.m.

Where: 314 Glen Manor Dr. (Ward 32 Beaches-East York)
(At the junction of Glen Manor Dr. West and Glen Manor Dr. East across from a
parkette, best accessed from Kingston Road, travelling south on Glen Manor
Drive. Watch for the collection truck as a reference point.)
