Southbound left-turn prohibition and lane reductions at Adelaide/University intersection this weekend

Adelaide Street will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes at the
intersection of University Avenue, and northbound traffic on University Avenue
will be reduced from three lanes to one lane at the intersection on Saturday,
November 27 at 6 a.m. to Sunday, November 28 at 6 a.m.

Also, vehicles travelling southbound will not be permitted to make left turns
from University Avenue to Adelaide Street during this time.

TTC Streetcar track repairs at the intersection of Adelaide Street and
University Avenue is the reason for the lane reductions.

Alternative northbound routes in the area would be York Street, Bay Street and
Spadina Avenue. Alternative eastbound routes would be King Street and Queen
Street.
