Cavalcade of Lights Saturday Festive Fireworks temporarily reroutes traffic

The magic of Cavalcade of Lights presented by Scotiabank continues with the
Saturday Night Festive Fireworks on December 4 at Nathan Phillips Square. The
event, running from 7 to 10 p.m., will reprise the explosive pyrotechnic
performance of the Magic of Light show.

Please note the following road closures for the event on Saturday, December 4
from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.:
  • Bay Street will be closed from Queen Street West to Dundas Street West.
  • James Street will be closed from Queen Street West to Albert Street.
  • Hagerman Street will be closed from Elizabeth Street to Bay Street.

A tradition spanning close to four decades, the Cavalcade of Lights festival
expands citywide in 2004 to set Toronto aglow for the season with sparkling
lighting displays, brilliant fireworks, a calendar of festive events and a
one-of-a-kind tour of Toronto's picturesque neighbourhoods. The winner of two
2003 International Special Events Society Esprit Awards and two International
Festivals and Events Association Pinnacle Awards, Cavalcade of Lights is one of
the nation's foremost festivals of light. Running from November 27 to December
31, 2004, Cavalcade of Lights captures the magic of Toronto's holiday season.
