Toronto's York Civic Centre Now Open for Business
  
The City of Toronto's York Civic Centre re-opened today to provide the
following public counter services to Toronto residents and businesses:

· Assessment information
· Freedom of Information request drop-off
· Marriage licenses
· Municipal lottery licenses
· Municipal liquor licence clearance
· Parking permits, front yard parking
· Parking ticket information/payments, "First Appearance" and inquiries
· Parks and Recreation program registration, information, payments, requests
for subsidy funding and refund application drop-off
· Processing of birth and death registrations
· Subsidized day-care intake
· Tax and water bill payments and inquiries
· Water Wastewater applications drop-off

The York Civic Centre wedding chamber will be available for bookings beginning
June 28.

York Civic Centre is located at 2700 Eglinton Avenue West, one block west of
Keele Street on the north side. Public parking is available in an adjacent lot.

The Urban Development Services Department's building permit intake services and
the Committee of Adjustment - Etobicoke and Humber York Panels are now located
at 2 Civic Centre Court, adjacent to the Etobicoke Civic Centre at the south
east corner of Burnhamthorpe Road and The West Mall. Residential fast track
building permit intake services will be provided at this location on Wednesdays
between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
