Over-time Leafs fans to be spared Gardiner closure

Whether cheering or crying, Toronto Maple Leafs fans will not have to endure
additional traffic woes tonight if the hockey game goes into overtime. Staff of
the City of Toronto's Transportation Division will postpone or cancel the
planned 11 p.m. closure of the F.G. Gardiner Expressway tonight if the game
goes beyond its regular timing. If the game ends at its usual time, the 11 p.m.
to 5 a.m. closure will proceed.

The Gardiner Expressway is scheduled to be closed in both directions between
the Humber River and Carlaw Avenue during this period for maintenance
activities and spring catch-basin cleaning.

For further information about any closures, check with Transportation Services'
Road Info line at 416-599-9090 or visit the City's Web site at
http://www.toronto.ca/involved.
