Fire fighters help family recover

The Toronto Professional Fire Fighters' Association (TPFFA) and the Toronto
Fire Services Rescue 434 crew will provide assistance to a mother and her three
children (girl 8, boys 9 and 16) after a fire ravaged their apartment on
November 13, 2004.

Date: Thursday, December 2

Time: 1:30 p.m.

Location: 240 Lake Promenade, Apt. 511 (where the fire occurred)
South Etobicoke

Unfortunately, the family did not have insurance and consequently they have
been renovating the apartment by themselves.

The TPFFA will present a $500 cheque and the Rescue 434 crew will present gifts
from their annual toy drive to the family.

Toronto Fire Fighters have always lent a helping hand to the citizens of
Toronto and this is just another way that they offer their continuing support
after a fire is extinguished.
