Media Advisory: K9 Duke retires as teaching dog
  
Toronto Board of Health will pay tribute today to K9 Duke, the City's dog bite
prevention instructor, who is retiring after a 12-year career with Animal
Services teaching Toronto children about dog safety.

Councillor John Filion, Chair of the Board of Health, and Dr. David McKeown,
Medical Officer of Health, will present K9 Duke with a certificate of
recognition.

Time: 1 p.m.
Location: Committee Room 2, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 100 Queen
St. W.

The recognition of K9 Duke will occur as the first item on the Board of Health
agenda.
