Information sessions for Access and Equity Grants
  
The first of three information sessions for the 2005 Access and Equity Grants
Program will be held on Monday, December 13. The sessions inform potential
applicants about eligibility criteria, preparing an application, the review
process and grant approval. Each session is followed by individual help clinics.

Monday, December 13
Elmbank Community Centre
10 Rampart Rd. (Finch/Martingrove)
Auditorium
Information Session: 1:30 - 3 p.m.
Individual Help Clinic: 3 - 5 p.m.

Thursday, January 6, 2005
Scarborough Civic Centre
150 Borough Dr. (McCowan and Ellesmere)
Committee Rooms 1 and 2
Information Session: 10:30 a.m.- noon
Individual Help Clinic: noon - 2 p.m.

Monday, January 10, 2005
North York Civic Centre
5100 Yonge St. (3 blocks north of Sheppard)
Committee Room 3
Information Session: 3 - 4:30 p.m.
Individual Help Clinic: 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Activities supported under the Access and Equity Grant Program include public
education, community development, advocacy, human rights issues related to
women and gender, literacy, disability, sexual orientation, Aboriginal affairs
and activities aimed at eliminating hate activity. The program supports the
City's partnerships and networks with community-based organizations to foster
social, economic and civic participation.
