City opens new soccer field at Bill Hancox Park
  
Councillor Ron Moeser (Ward 44 Scarborough East) and City of Toronto representatives will join members of the public to commemorate the opening of a new soccer field at Bill Hancox Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community barbecue.

Date: Tuesday, May 19
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Bill Hancox Park, 101 Bridgeport Dr.

The park has been enhanced with a full-size, irrigated soccer field and a new asphalt path that connects Bridgeport Drive to Lawrence Avenue and Vessel Crescent. Four benches have been added and approximately 100 deciduous and coniferous trees have been planted.
