Identify ‘N’ Impact Awards Celebrate Youth Achievement
The Identify ‘N’ Impact (INI) awards, sponsored by the City of Toronto, the Toronto Youth Cabinet and the TD Financial Group will be presented at the Lula Lounge. The INI awards celebrate the achievements of youth between 13 and 24 years of age and youth-led organizations that have made a significant contribution to their community through athletics, arts, advocacy or by making a positive contribution to sexual health, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Twin-spirited and Queer (LGBTTQ), disabled, newcomer, street-involved or homeless communities.

The awards ceremony will also feature performances by: The Vibrasonic Sessions, UNITY Spoken Word, KG and speakers Ryan Hayes and Tonika Morgan.

Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2009
Time: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Location: Lula Lounge, 1585 Dundas St. W, west of Dufferin Street.

The Toronto Youth Cabinet (TYC) is a youth driven advocacy organization which strives to improve the quality of life for Toronto's youth. In working together with councilors and through fostering partnership among youth organizations, the Cabinet is dedicated to providing young people with a forum in which they are able to build an equitable, youth-friendly Toronto.
