City hosts 15th annual Streetbuds ball hockey tournament

Toronto children and youth ages 5 to 15 years will scramble for running shoes instead of hockey skates and hit the ground running to participate in the City of Toronto and Ontario Ball Hockey Association’s 15th annual Streetbuds Ball Hockey tournament. Participants take part in a series of skills, drills and hockey games.

Dates and times: Friday, April 3, from 5 to 10 p.m.
Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place

Young street hockey enthusiasts have been selected from various community centres across the city. The three-day tournament tests ball hockey skills and abilities while promoting teamwork, responsibility and other life skills. Members of the public are invited to attend and cheer on their favourites. Admission is free.
