Week-long EcoCAR competition wraps up in Toronto
  
After five days of judging and evaluations, a team from among three Canadian and 14 American universities competing will be proclaimed winner of best-designed green vehicle at tomorrow’s closing ceremony of EcoCAR Challenge: The Next Challenge.

Speakers include:
• Lisa Raitt, Minister of Natural Resources Canada
• John Lushetsky, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Energy
• Mark Maher, Executive Director of Powertrain Integration at GM Powertrain

Date: Friday, June 12
Time: 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Location: Innovation Theatre, Sheraton Centre Hotel (lower concourse level), Toronto

Each team will be presented with the keys to a Saturn Vue car to integrate their advanced technology designs and build the next generation of environmentally friendly vehicles.
