Gala to Celebrate the Winners of the 2009 Toronto Urban Design Awards
  
On September 21, 2009 Mayor David Miller will announce the winners of the 2009 Toronto Urban Design Awards. Media are invited to attend this event. The Toronto Urban Design Awards promote excellence and celebrate achievements in urban design, architecture and landscape architecture. The event will include electronic displays of all submissions, the awards presentation, catered reception, and a keynote address from Mayor Miller.

Date: September 21, 2009
Location: Palais Royale, 1601 Lake Shore Blvd W
Time: 5:30 p.m. (doors open)
6:30 p.m. (speeches and awards presentation)
7:30 -10:30 p.m. (reception)

As this is a ticketed event, media outlets are asked to R.S.V.P. to Bruce Hawkins, bhawkin@toronto.ca by Monday September 21, at 12 noon, indicating if they will be sending a reporter, and/or a photographer/cameraman to the event.
