Toronto weekend events and road closures
  
There are two special events this weekend in Toronto that all residents and visitors are encouraged to come out and enjoy. Businesses in the affected areas are open to pedestrian traffic, but some roads will be closed to motorists. The public is encouraged to take public transit as a greener, faster and more affordable means of getting to their destinations.

Road Closures:

Beaches Jazz Festival

Queen St. E. will be closed from Woodbine Ave. to Beech Ave. as follows:

* Thursday, July 23 from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight
* Friday, July 24 from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight
* Saturday, July 25 from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight

Kensington Pedestrian Sundays

On Sunday, July 26 from 12 noon to 7 p.m. the following streets will be closed:

Augusta Ave., from Dundas St. W. to College St.
Additionally, Augusta Ave. will remain closed until 10:30 p.m. from Oxford St. to College St.

Kensington Ave., from Dundas St. W. to Baldwin St.
Baldwin St., from parking garage to Augusta Ave.
St. Andrew St., from parking garage to Kensington Ave.
