Media Advisory: Anniversary Issue 2010 Safe Seniors Calendar to be launched in York Region
  
This media advisory is being issued on behalf of Bringing an Awareness to Senior Safety Issues in the Community (B.A.S.S.I.C)

Toronto, Ontario) - Bringing an Awareness to Senior Safety Issues in the Community (B.A.S.S.I.C) is a partnership between police, fire, government agencies and community groups dedicated to making seniors safer in our communities. B.A.S.S.I.C. is proudly launching its 2010 Anniversary issue of the Safe Seniors Calendar. With the generous support of The Co-operators insurance, 150,000 calendars will be distributed to seniors in the GTA, and across Canada, free of charge!

The calendar features a different safety message each month, including pedestrian and driver safety, fraud prevention, a variety of health issues, and a comprehensive resource list with telephone numbers and web addresses.

LAUNCH: Thursday October 1, 2009 at 10:00 am
