New City Hall green roof to be previewed at CitiesAlive! international conference on green roof infrastructure

Toronto's largest, publicly accessible green roof is under construction on the City Hall podium roof. Come preview it and speak to the project’s design team and builders at the opening reception of the first ever CitiesAlive World Green Roof Infrastructure Congress in Toronto.

Please note: As the podium green roof is under construction, flat shoes are required for the preview.

CitiesAlive (October 19 to 21,Sheraton Centre, Toronto) showcases international world-class green roof and wall infrastructure design and case studies; building, neighbourhood and watershed scale research; innovative policies and programs that support the creation of green urban spaces; and emerging issues around green infrastructure in urban environments. A trade show, Sustainable Toronto tours and Green Roof professional training and accreditation will round out the event
