Toronto students celebrate the Olympic Flame through art
  
To celebrate the arrival of the Olympic Flame in Toronto on December 17, the City of Toronto, the Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board will present the Toronto Olympic Torch Relay Student Art Show from December 11 to 18. The art show, mounted in the City Hall rotunda, will feature more than 100 pieces of art by students 6 to 18 years of age. The artworks will share the theme of the spirit of the Olympic Flame.

Councillor Adrian Heaps (Ward 35 Scarborough Southwest) will open the art show with a special reception for participating students, their families and school board officials on December 11.

Location: City Hall (rotunda), 100 Queen St. W.

The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay will be arriving in Toronto on December 17 and will travel throughout Toronto until December 19.
