City hosts groundbreaking for new Edithvale Community Centre
  
City Councillor John Filion (Ward 23 Willowdale) and City representatives will join members of the community to commemorate the groundbreaking for the new Edithvale Community Centre.

Date: Saturday, March 7
Time: 1 to 3 p.m.
Location: Edithvale Community Centre, 7 Edithvale Dr.

The project will provide the community with a state-of-the-art green community centre that includes a gymnasium, an indoor track, two fitness rooms, a dance studio and numerous meeting rooms. Completion of this Parks, Forestry and Recreation project is scheduled for summer 2010.
