Media Advisory - City of Toronto launches Fire Prevention Week 2008
  
Councillor Adam Vaughan, along with Toronto Fire Chief William Stewart and Deputy Ontario Fire Marshal Doug Crawford will launch Fire Prevention Week 2008: ‘Prevent Home Fires’ on Monday, October 6. In addition to reading the Fire Prevention Week proclamation, Councillor Vaughan will also give a short presentation about the Queen Street West fire that occurred in February 2008.

Students from Ranchdale Public School will also be in attendance to make two presentations about their own home hazard inspections. Following the presentations, Chief Stewart will award the students with a plaque to acknowledge their participation and dedication to the Risk Watch injury prevention curriculum.
