Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone leads the litter pick-up for the 20-Minute Toronto Makeover
In recognition of Earth Day, Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone (on behalf of the City and Mayor David Miller), along with Councillors Shelley Carroll and Glenn De Baeremaeker, will join with members of the community to volunteer 20 minutes to pick up litter at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 18.

Through assistance from the seven returning 20-Minute Makeover sponsors - TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, The Home Depot, Toronto Star, Pizza Pizza, The Toronto Sun, Tim Hortons and McDonald’s, thousands of Toronto residents, businesses, students and government employees will also be out across the city filling up their lime green litter bags and putting the clean back in our streets.

Date: Friday, April 18
Time: 2 p.m. (for 20 minutes)
Location: Christie Pits Park (northwest corner of Bloor St. W. and Christie St., down the hill by the playground equipment).
