Media Advisory - City and community join efforts to re-build the playground at High Park
  
Councillor Paula Fletcher, Chair of the Parks and Environment Committee (Ward 30 Toronto - Danforth) and Councillor Bill Saundercook (Ward 13 Parkdale-High Park) will join City of Toronto representatives and community members to re-build part of the Jamie Bell Adventure Playground in High Park that was damaged after an oak tree fell onto the structure on July 29.

Location: High Park, 1873 Bloor St. W.

Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation has undertaken preparatory work required to re-build the junior section of the playground, including off-site pre-fabrication of structural features. The senior section of the playground was not damaged and is open and accessible to children and families.
