Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - Two of the City’s golf courses teed-up to open
Members of the media are invited to bring their clubs (irons only) to join Councillor Paula Fletcher, Chair of the Parks and Environment Committee (Ward 30 Toronto-Danforth), and representatives from City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation to open another season of golf in Toronto.

Date: Friday, April 18
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Dentonia Park Golf Course, 781 Victoria Park Ave.

Two of the five municipal golf courses will open on Friday (Dentonia Park and Tam O’Shanter) with the remaining three courses scheduled to open in the coming week. Don Valley Golf Course is expected to open on Monday April 21, and Humber Valley on Wednesday April 23, weather permitting. Scarlett Woods is tentatively scheduled to open on Friday April 25, depending on course conditions.

The City of Toronto’s golf courses are accessible by public transit, affordable and offer a variety of programming for families, youth, adults and seniors.
