Media Advisory - Sorauren Park Fieldhouse official opening
  
Mayor David Miller, Councillor Gord Perks (Ward 14 Parkdale-High Park) and Brenda Librecz, General Manager, Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation will join Doug Bennet, President of the Wabash Building Society and members of the public to celebrate the opening of the Sorauren Park Fieldhouse with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a fundraising community barbecue.

Date: Monday, May 5
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: 50 Wabash Ave.

The retrofitted fieldhouse will provide programming space for community groups and, during the sports season, the fieldhouse will offer storage for soccer nets and baseball equipment. Washroom facilities will be provided for community use as well.
