Weekend event and road closure in Toronto

There is one special event taking place this weekend in Toronto that residents and visitors are encouraged to come out and enjoy. Businesses in the affected area are open to pedestrian traffic, but one road will be closed to motorists.

The public is encouraged to take public transit as a more affordable and faster means of getting to their destinations.

Church Street Fetish Fair
Church Street, north of Alexander Street to the south side of Gloucester Street, will be closed in both directions on Sunday, August 17 from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

For more information about road closures, check with Transportation Services’ Road Info line at 416-599-9090 or visit the City’s website at www.toronto.ca/transportation.
