Media Advisory - City of Toronto hosts 7th annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase
  
The City of Toronto's Brenda Librecz, General Manager of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, will join the city’s youth as they take centre stage at the 7th annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition/ Showcase to entertain an audience of family, friends and peers with high calibre performances that incorporate various styles of urban dance, such as step, b-boy, break, hip hop, dancehall, jazz and contemporary.

STOMP Urban Dance Competition/ Showcase will feature more than 350 performers, between six and 24 years of age from Parks, Forestry and Recreation dance programs, Toronto Community Housing and Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Toronto. The event is one of many youth initiatives developed by Parks, Forestry and Recreation to foster an environment where youth are safe, celebrated and encouraged to showcase their artistic creativity.
