Canadian and U.S Mayors to join together to weigh in on economic recovery in the Great Lakes-St.Lawrence region
  
What: The Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative (GLSLCI) Board of Directors, on behalf of the organization and its members, will be calling on the federal governments of Canada and the U.S. to act urgently to develop economic recovery packages that target investment in public infrastructure and creating jobs within the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence region.

Who: Mayor David Miller of Toronto, Mayor Lynn Peterson of Thunder Bay, and Mayor Denis Lapointe of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield will address the media and answer questions. Mayor Ellen Anderson of the Town of the Blue Mountains, Mayor Robert Duffy of Rochester, Mayor Eddie Francis of Windsor, Mayor Brian McMullan of St. Catharines, and President Régis Labeaume of the Québec Metropolitan Community will be in attendance as well.
