Media Advisory - Mayor David Miller launches Doors Open Toronto at the ROM
Mayor David Miller will kick off the ninth-annual Doors Open Toronto at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) tomorrow, along with William Thorsell, CEO, ROM, and Rita Davies, Executive Director, Toronto Culture. Remarks will be followed by musical performances by Tafelmusik and The Toronto Consort with Sampradaya Dance Creations. Then at 7:30 p.m., Pecha Kucha Toronto Vol. 2 will deliver a high-energy showcase with architects, designers, former mayor John Sewell, and Jeanne Lamon of Tafelmusik, presenting their sacred spaces. All museum galleries are open and free to the public from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
