Media Advisory - Councillor Glenn De Baeremaeker kicks off Mayor David Miller’s Community Clean-up Day
Councillor Glenn De Baeremaeker, Chair of the City’s Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, will kick off Mayor David Miller’s Community Clean-up Day, an annual event where residents get together to clean up parks, watercourses and other areas around the city.

Date: Saturday, April 19
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Birkdale Community Centre, 1299 Ellesmere Rd. (South of Ellesmere Rd., just west of Brimley Rd.)

The goal of the Mayor’s Community Clean-up Day is to show you care about our city by getting together with friends, co-workers and neighbours to pick up litter in a public space in your community.

More than 4,000 groups have registered to participate.
