Media Advisory - Toronto Youth Cabinet hosts “The Cause” to celebrate and promote youth volunteerism
  
This media advisory is being distributed on behalf of the Toronto Youth Cabinet.

On Sunday the Toronto Youth Cabinet (TYC) will host “The Cause,” an annual event designed to motivate youth to get involved in their communities by dedicating volunteer time to their “cause.” The event encourages volunteerism and celebrates the work of Toronto’s youth in their diverse communities. The event is being organized in partnership with Manifesto Festival of Music and Art.

Date: Sunday, September 21
Time: 1 p.m - 6 p.m.: “The Cause” Expo: Youth led and youth involved groups will host information tables to encourage youth involvement in their communities.
4 p.m. - 6 p.m.: “The Cause” Showcase: Hosted by Mz. B, Toronto’s up and coming artistic talent will take the stage.
Place: Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.

The Toronto Youth Cabinet (TYC) is an advocacy organization which strives to improve the quality of life for Toronto’s youth. Working with Toronto City Councillors and fostering partnerships among youth organizations, the TYC is dedicated to providing young people with a forum for building an equitable, youth-friendly Toronto.
