Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Scarborough Civic Centre
  
Kick off the holiday season with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Scarborough Civic Centre on Tuesday, December 9, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The celebrations include: free outdoor ice skating (weather permitting); free indoor live music provided by the Cedarbrook Public School Choir, Dr. Norman Bethune Senior Jazz Band, R&B musical artist Jacqueline John; free hot chocolate and cookies; arts and crafts; and free pictures with Santa Claus.

The Scarborough Civic Centre is located at 150 Borough Dr. (McCowan and Ellesmere Roads). For more information, call 416-396-7766.
