Media Advisory: HOT Consultation set for Etobicoke

The City will hold a public consultation on its affordable housing framework at the Etobicoke Civic Centre on Wednesday, June 4.

The City is gathering input on HOT - Housing Opportunities Toronto: An Affordable Housing Framework 2008-2018, which contains proposed actions to help some 200,000 households in core housing need. These consultations will lead to a comprehensive 10-year affordable-housing plan being presented to City Council later this year.

Deputations on HOT can also be made to the June 16th meeting of the Affordable Housing Committee at City Hall. As well, several outside organizations are holding their own consultations, using material available at www.toronto.ca/affordablehousing.

Date: Wednesday, June 4
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Location: Etobicoke Civic Centre, Council Chambers, 399 The West Mall
