Media Advisory - Fireworks, fire boats and helicopters will generate excitement and awareness at Toronto Fire’s annual public safety night
  
An action packed evening will use boats, helicopters and safety demonstrations to make for a fun and exciting approach to educate the public about summer safety. The event will feature a fire boat water display, a fire safety house, boating demonstrations, and safety information for the home, barbequing, the cottage as well as water safety. An air show featuring a Griffon Helicopter search and rescue demonstration will take place at 7:30 p.m. and the evening will conclude with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

The City of Toronto is working with the following event partners to promote summer safety at Toronto Fire Services’ third annual public safety night: Health Canada, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Toronto Police Services, the Canadian Forces and the Canadian Coast Guard.
